Basic SEO Terms

SEO (Search Engine Optimization): The practice of improving a website to increase its visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs).
SERP (Search Engine Results Page): The page displayed by search engines in response to a user query.
Organic Search: Non-paid search results based on relevance to the search query.
Keyword: A word or phrase that defines the content and is targeted to match search queries.
Keyword Research: The process of finding and analyzing keywords that users enter into search engines.
Ranking: The position of a website or webpage on the SERP for a particular keyword.
